Being the River — A Ritual

This ritual is an invocation of water.

It’s an invitation:
〰️to enter your inner landscape
〰️to be guided in an imaginative practice on waterbodies
〰️to practice storytelling and deep listening as an act of taking care of each other
〰️to embody fluidity
〰️to access diverse aspects and acts of bodily mourning
〰️to activate the ability to dissolve emotional pain
〰️to shape meaning through simple signature dance choreography
〰️to explore and witness necessary moments of change
〰️to let transition create purpose
〰️to experience grief as a threshold emotion that connects us to people and places we care about
〰️to experience mourning as an embodied form of activism

A workshop co-hosted by Deborah Haaksman & Nora Amin.
