Death Journey – Songs for Departure

A guided sound experience with Erin Lang.

What does it mean to be accompanied by sound in times of loss and transition? Musician and sound artist Erin Lang invites us into a contemplative experience of harp, voice, and vibration, offering care and comfort in the emotional landscapes of dying and letting go. Trough a shared space of sound, she opens a path to connect with what lies beyond the physical – with ourselves, with loved ones, and with what we may not be able to name.

The session will begin with a reflection on the timeless and connective nature of sound and vibration, followed by a guided meditation and deep listening journey using harp and voice, extended with subtle effects to guide us beyond conscious perception. Together, we will create sound – through humming, bells, and vocal resonance – as a tool to return to, a companion in navigating attachment and fear. The session will close with a space for open discussion and sharing.

This journey is for anyone wishing to explore death, loss or transformation through the medium of sound – personally, artistically, or in their work of accompanying others.

The Event is free of charge und will be hosted in English. Register now if you want to join this special journey!

We will aim to create an understanding of sound as deeply connective to loved ones and community in the process of dying or dealing with loss and grief and the resonances beyond.
