A guided meditation using sound, scent, and touch to explore the threshold between life and death.
How might it feel to gently imagine your own dying – the final moments of breath, and what may follow? In this multi-sensory meditation you are invited to journey inward, guided by scent, subtle physical sensations, voice, and music. It is a space to encounter thoughts, emotions, and images around death and dying, with care, curiousity, and presence.
The meditation is facilitated by Shannon Turner (anthropologist and ritualist), Amélie Vrla (writer and death doula), and Erin Lang (musician and sound artist). Together, they guide a meditative experience designed to ground the idea of death in the natural cycles of life, and to open a space for contemplation – not as a dramatic rupture, but as an integral part of being alive.
The meditation will be followed by an optional sharing circle to express, if you wish, what may have surfaced – questions, fears, clarity, or inspiration.
Save your spot, they are limited! This event is free of charge and will be hosted in English. It is for anyone who feels called to engage with death in a personal, creative, or reflective way – whether through grief, end-of-life-work, or simply the desire to meet the unknown.
