Psychedelics, Healing, and the Occasional Ego-Vanishing Act.
THE SCHOOL OF DEATH with Christine Günther. Producer between worlds and states of consciousness.
Christine Günther is a passionate storyteller and producer (Fireglory Pictures) who moves between Los Angeles and Berlin. With a background in international film and high-end series production across over more than 20 countries, she bridges creative storytelling with spiritual practice – as founder of the Ram Dass Fellowship in Berlin, devoted Ashtanga yogi, and psychonaut.
Her latest project, the documentary series „Tripped – LSD for Mom“, is a limited docuseries currently in development, based on Norman Ohler’s bestselling book „TRIPPED“. It follows Ohler’s personal dive into the world of psychedelics – sparked by his mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis – and traces the therapeutic promise of LSD alongside its complicated cultural legacy. At the center, the very relevant question: Why does a substance with such profound therapeutic and consciousness-expanding potential remain taboo?
Join us for an evening of honest conversation about the power of psychedelics, ego dissolution, and what it really means to let go – before we have no choice.
This talk and screening is free of charge and will be hosted in English.
THE SCHOOL OF DEATH
Janna Maria Nandzik, founder of THE SCHOOL OF DEATH, curates and hosts deep talks, lectures, workshops and screenings. THE SCHOOL OF DEATH appears as a nomadic spiritual salon, mystical school, and community for the death-curious. It moves through Berlin’s urban landscape – from a French restaurant on Torstraße to a bar near Schlesisches Tor, a reading room at Dussmann, and now, to our ahorn Space at Hermannplatz.
